Fast Setup (Recommended)

  1. Download the WordPress plugin (.zip).
  2. In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then upload and activate.
  3. Generate a Setup URL on this page, or in Site Settings → Website Integration.
  4. In WordPress, open Settings → Crawlbaby Change Ping, paste the Setup URL, and click Save Changes.
  5. After saving, the plugin sends a test ping automatically. Confirm you see a Ping success message.

Generating a Setup URL rotates the webhook key. Test ping validates config and does not create a snapshot.

Manual Values (Fallback)

This is not part of the normal Website Integration flow. Use it only if you cannot use Setup URL and the site already has a webhook key.

Advanced: Manual Webhook

Use this only if the plugin Setup URL flow is unavailable and the site already has a webhook key.

Endpoint path:

/api/sites/{siteId}/events/page-changed

Send auth using either:

  • X-Crawlbaby-Event-Token: <webhook-key>
  • Authorization: Bearer <webhook-key>
