FAQ

The questions we hear most.

Can I use GA4, GSC, or both to measure impact?

Yes. GA4 and GSC are optional and independent, so you can connect either one or both. That lets you review page changes alongside traffic, clicks, impressions, CTR, and other search performance signals.

How does the Wayback integration work?

Crawlbaby uses the Internet Archive CDX API to pull Wayback captures into the same timeline as Crawlbaby captures. That means historical archive captures and new Crawlbaby captures sit in one place and can be compared directly.

What if my integration is not on the list?

Crawlbaby currently supports WordPress, HubSpot, Shopify, and Webflow, plus GA4 and Google Search Console for performance context. If you need something else, email support@crawlbaby.io and we can tell you if it is already possible or worth prioritising.

What gets stored for each capture?

Each capture stores the compressed screenshot, rendered HTML, visible text extract, and extracted links used for before-and-after comparisons.

Can I track only certain pages instead of my whole site?

Yes. You can track your whole site or just the pages you care about most, depending on how broadly you want to monitor changes.
