Will Crawlbaby work with my website?

Crawlbaby supports public websites on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, HubSpot, Sanity, Contentful, Squarespace, Wix, and Kentico, with custom setup options for other sites. How you connect and detect changes depends on your platform. Our setup guides explain the options.

Does Crawlbaby capture every published change?

Crawlbaby captures detected changes using your site's connected integration or monitoring setup. It cannot guarantee a separate capture of every published version: timing depends on your setup, and rapid updates or changes between checks may not each be saved. Each capture records the page as it appears when Crawlbaby visits it.

Can I see changes from before I signed up?

Yes, where older captures are available from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. Crawlbaby brings those captures into your page history alongside new Crawlbaby captures. Archive coverage varies, so there may be gaps; we cannot recreate versions that were never captured.

How do you measure changes in performance?

Connect Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, or both to view traffic and search performance alongside your page history. You can compare trends in users, sessions, clicks, and impressions before and after an update. These trends help you investigate impact, but do not prove an update caused a result. Both connections are optional.
